Today I want to take a look at LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 796 provided by LEGO.
I'm going to start out by saying I am a 23-year-old woman who is obsessed with Star Wars and this was my first lego set. That being said, my in-laws got this for me last Christmas (2012). I did not have time to put it together until recently because of my wedding/moving/work/etc, so when I finally had a night to myself I decided to break open the box. It was such a blast to put together! It took me about 6 or 7 hours to do it by myself, but that was largely due to taking my time (and trying to keep my curious cat away). The instructions are easy to follow and all of the pieces are so wonderfully detailed. My only qualm is that the smuggler's compartment has the tendency to fall out from the bottom at the slightest touch. There is also one rotating part on the interior that keeps coming off (the part I'm talking about is on page 27 of the second instruction booklet or step 84, if you are at all interested in the exact part). Other than that, it is pretty durable and can withstand being moved/played with. I am extremely pleased and can't stop geeking out over it! I can't recommend this set enough if you or your child love Star Wars and Legos. I, myself, am now completely obsessed with Legos and will be purchasing more sets in the near future.
